I am very AGI pilled. The AGI labs are defined as OpenAI, Deepmind, xAI, Anthropic, SSI, etc. Their main goal has to be to build AGI.
I am currently in my junior year in undergrad. I have been doing AI research at Mila for almost 3 years now. I've mainly trained foundation models and done interpretability on large-scale agents. I have a few friends who are currently working at AGI labs.
I have interacted with some decently senior AGI lab employees at AI conferences.
