I really love Scott Alexander's writing because of the rigorous inquiry interspersed with dry humour and general insightfulness.

I'll give 50 mana to any recommendation I find interesting.

Since I do a lot of boring physical labor I prefer podcasts, but blogs will be eligible, too.

Some of my favorite Articles were those about pharmacology (e.g. "know your amphetamines") or his works of fiction ("Are longa, Vita brevis"). I really like rationlaist fiction in general, but have burned through most of it already, so Unsong and HPMOR are out of the game.

I frequently read Stuff in Lesswrong, but not in the EA and AI-alignment forums.

I tried some of the blogs on Scotts blogroll, but none really clicked.

Other podcasts I listen to:

"Huberman podcast"

"Peter Attia: the Drive"

"We are not saved"

Lesswrong podcast

"Harry potter and the methods of rationality"

"Lage der Nation" (german)

"Sicherheitshalber" (german)

Generally I find podcasts boring if they focus too much on interviews.

You could try Dwarkesh's podcast: https://www.dwarkeshpatel.com/podcast

It's all interviews, 80,000 hours style, but they are very well prepared and usually have very cool people. It might not be your cup of tea but I'm sure you'll enjoy at least a few episodes.

I'd recommend trying "The Studies Show" with Stuart Ritchie and Tom Chivers. They take a different scientific topic each week that is at least somewhat controversial and discuss it, looking at all the available studies they've been able to find, before talking about their conclusions if any.

They're both fans of ACX, and Stuart has been mentioned a few times on ACX/SSC in a positive way.
