Resolves YES if the 22nd amendment of the US constitution is repealed before the 2028 US presidential election AND former president Barack Obama runs for president in that election.

This market will be canceled in the event that the 22nd amendment is not repealed before the election.

How will this resolve if they amend the 22nd, but do a carveout SPECIFICALLY so that Obama can't run again?

@Marnix I’m going to take the rules at face value. All that needs to happen is for a new amendment to explicitly nullify the 22nd Amendment in full, even if another article of the same new amendment explicitly says Barack Obama cannot hold the presidency.

So yes, theoretically this market could also resolve NO if Barack Obama becomes ineligible to run for president, or if he dies, etc. A YES resolution means he successfully files in at least one state. But either way it is conditional on term limits being repealed.

@thepurplebull Sounds good. I'm more going for something like what Rep. Ogles recently introduced, attempting to amend it so that it's three terms UNLESS you've served two consecutive terms.
