Background. From January to November 2024, the US exported around $44.2 million of goods to Greenland and imported around $26.0 million of goods, leading to a total trade volume of $70.2. This was a large increase in total trade volume relative to 2023.
Resolution criteria.
This market will resolve YES if the total trade of goods between the US and Greenland in 2025 is strictly higher in 2025 than in 2024. Otherwise, it will resolve NO.
The total trade of goods will be measured by adding total exports to total imports, as measured by International Trade Macro Analysis Branch and published by the US Census Bureau. For more information on how trade volume is calculated, see: https://www.census.gov/foreign-trade/balance/c1010.html#questions
The market will resolve as soon as the US Census Bureau publishes the full trade data for 2025. In the extremely unlikely event that these data have not been published by the question's resolution, the market will resolve N/A.
